A historic city

Faucogney-and-La-Mer surprises its visitors with its rich past. Guardian of the strategic shift towards Lorraine, it was the residence of the Lords of Faucogney, whose power extended over a large part of the Haute-Saône.

Destroyed and looted by the French in 1674, the city was the last strategic site to resist fiercely to Louis XIV during the conquest of the Franche-Comté. A few miles away, discover the church and the cemetery of Saint Martin, in 600 meters above sea level, will offer a view overlooking the valley.
Discover Faucogney-and-La-Mer through its "We Are Happy From" on the music of Pharrell Williams!

Conceived and directed by the teachers of the College Duplessis-Deville.
