calendrier 2014

With his heart in the Hautes-Vosges, the Ballons des Vosges Regional Nature Park  plunges into the valleys of Alsace, Lorraine and Franche-Comté. The plateau Thousand ponds in Haute-Saône is the second great natural wealth. This vast territory, exceptional landscapes abound: high-stubble, peat bogs, beech-fir or calcareous grasslands.

With rivers, lakes and ponds, water is everywhere promoting the establishment of a fauna and flora unique: owl, lynx, falcon, droséra ... This mountainous territory marked by an ancient human presence, is the support of many activities (agriculture, tourism, crafts, industry, etc ...).

For local development

If the park is known for its preservation of natural and cultural heritage, its other missions are equally fundamental. They are to support mountain farming, to work for the development of short-circuits, to enhance the know-how and local products, promote quality planning projects to improve the reception of the great peak to support school projects or to inform and educate residents and visitors.

Exhibitions, information, shopping

The receptions points open all year, offering free exhibitions and documentation from which to explore the park, its wealth and its challenges.
